'I never thought it would be two.'

“You wait ages for a bus for a completed Socialist Standard month, and then two come along at once."
— Frank Snelling (allegedly)
Following on from this post, giving details of a blogging first, August suddenly came rushing in shouting "It should have been me! It should have been me  . . . "

And it should have been, but it'll have to settle for the consolation carriage clock. It will help with its future punctuality. With the completion of the August 1933 Socialist Standard, that's all the August Socialist Standards (1905 thru' 2026) now on the blog. I won't repeat myself here but if you're a fan of caveats, there's an abundance of them here.

So what now? I won't start on the November Standards until November kicks in. For the rest of October I could back to another month, but what month? July seems the easier bet but September is more seasonal. Sadly, no months are that near to completion. The figures as they currently stand are as follows:
  • January - 29
  • February - 29
  • March - 30
  • April - 14
  • May - 24
  • June - 19
  • July -  8
  • August - 0
  • September - 22
  • October - 0
  • November - 30
  • December -  17
I know that July looks like the obvious choice but those 22 September Socialist Standards will still be waiting for me ten months from now and that, frankly, sucks. September it is.
