Great Dover Street is a turning out of Borough High Street, near Borough (Underground) Station. The station it on the line from Morden to Hampstead and Highgate, and lies between the Bank Station and Elephant and Castle.

I include this wee snippet as a wee SPGB in-joke as Barltrop mentions in The Monument that some Party members were up in arms in at the time when the Party decided to move to Great Dover Street in South East London. It was considered by some as the backwoods of London.
