Forum was the SPGB internal journal during the 50s.
The above cartoon is an obvious SPGB in-joke which has lost not much in translation 64 years after its original publication. I wish I knew who the cartoonist was.
Suffice to say, it'd be fair to say that the 50s were troubled years for the years when they had their fair share of internal disputes and disagreements. This cartoon is a light hearted reflection of that.
