SPGB Meetings (1931)

A couple of things to point out:

1) You have to remember that back in the day the SPGB did not have the money to hire halls for indoor meetings, so that explains why there were so few indoor meetings listed in the pages of the January 1931 issue of the Standard. We are talking about the era of outdoor speaking pitches when the SPGB would have been running outdoor speaking platforms 6-7 times a week all over London.

2) Interesting to note the locations of where these indoor meetings are being held: Poplar, Bermondsey and the Borough were not exactly Hampstead and Chelsea. Kind of nails the myth of the 'middle class' marxist playing politics in posh parlours. (That's enough alliteration for one comment.)
