Dear Comrades,

My comrades in Peckham request me to convey to you their warm appreciation and approval of the general tone and get-up of the Socialist Standard, and trust that the same may continue.

From Kaz's document on the founding members of the SPGB:

Wren, Walter
Peckham branch. Wren was the secretary of Peckham branch in 1904-9 and 1911-12, having been the secretary of the SDF Peckham branch in 1903-4. Wren was a newsagent and in early 1914 signed a petition of newsagents to Parliament against the restriction of child labour. This was deemed to be contrary to the Declaration of Principles and he was duly expelled on 20th July 1914.

Ouch.
