Book Review from the December 1967 issue of the Socialist Standard
The Russian Revolution by R. Goldston, Phoenix. 224 pp. 30s.
The bulk of this book is a simple, narrative account of the events in Russia leading up to the seizure of power by the Bolsheviks in October, 1917. Both text and accompanying illustrations do this job quite well, although there are dozens of books of a similar standard.
